The bride of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi has demanded that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud be immediately punished for the murder of his fiance. The corresponding statement was posted on the woman's Twitter account.

Hatice Cengiz said that bringing the Saudi prince to justice will help prevent such crimes in the future. "If the crown Prince is not punished, it will forever remain a reminder that the main culprit can get away with murder, which will put all of us at risk and become a stain on the conscience of humanity," the woman stressed.

On February 26, the US National Intelligence Service issued a report accusing Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud of approving the operation to kidnap or kill Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. After that, the US administration imposed visa sanctions on 76 Saudi citizens who, according to the State Department, "threatened dissidents abroad, appeared in the Khashoggi murder case, and not only in it." At the same time, there will be no sanctions against Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

Khashoggi disappeared on October 2, 2018 after a visit to the Saudi Consulate General in Istanbul. He went there to get
