Former US President Donald Trump was vaccinated against the coronavirus back in January, being at that time the head of state, along with his wife Melania. This is reported by the portal Axios with reference to an unnamed adviser to Trump.

The source of the publication did not specify what kind of vaccine Trump and his wife were vaccinated with. At the time of his departure from the US presidency on January 20, the country approved vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna.

Earlier, The New York Times newspaper, citing sources, reported that Donald Trump wanted to be connected to a ventilator at a time when he was ill with a coronavirus infection. According to their information, the disease of the former head of state was more serious than the public was informed about it.

The American leader and his wife Melania Trump were infected with the coronavirus in October 2020. The head of state was treated at the Walter Reed Military Hospital. He was taking an experimental antibody-based serum. Trump claimed that he felt like superman after taking the medicine. A few days later, antibodies to the infection were found in his blood and he was discharged from the hospital.
