MADRID, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid were forced to dig deep before a Tony Kroos goal gave them all three points from their home debut in the Primera Liga against a brave Celta Vigo side that came close to taking a point from their trip to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Celta looked organized and dangerous in attack and it wasn't until the 60th minute that Alvaro Morata put Madrid ahead following an error from Celta keeper Sergio Alvarez.
Fabian Orellana equalized with a shot from outside of the area seven minutes later and it needed a pinpoint effort from Kroos just 10 minutes from time to keep all three points in the Bernabeu.
Leganes' Butarque Stadium hosted its first ever top-flight game as Atletico Madrid made the short trip south of the Spanish capital and the home side took a famous point thanks to a hard working performance, a well-organized defense and goalkeeper JonAnder Serrantes who saved everything Atletico could throw at him.
The draw is worrying for Atletico who have already dropped four points this season with two draws against two newly prompted sides.
Things continue to look bleak for Valencia who lost their second game of the season 1-0 away to Eibar, who scored thanks to Pedro Leon slotting home the rebound to a penalty he himself had taken.
With Mustafi and Paco Alcacer on the way out of the club, Valencia coach Paco Ayestaran has a difficult two weeks ahead of him before their next match.
Real Sociedad claimed the first Basque derby of the season as they won 2-0 away to Osasuna with goals from Juanmi and an own goal from Unai Lopez giving the visitors their first points of the campaign.
The round of games kicked off on Friday night and Espanyol saw a two-goal lead wiped out in the closing minutes by Malaga.
Gerard Moreno's brace had looked to put Quique Sanchez Flores' side on track for their first win of the season, but Malaga puled a goal back through Diego Llorente before Charles equalized in the last minute.
Finally Betis and Deportivo produced a 0-0 draw which will please Deportivo more than Betis who looked incapable of scoring in front of their home fans.

VIENTIANE http://www.cheapnbajerseysnuggets.com/Jameer-Nelson-Jersey/ , March 24 (Xinhua) -- Lower global oil prices are an opportunity for developing countries like Laos to pursue timely structural reforms as the region's economic integration continues apace, according to the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
ADB senior country specialist for Laos Mr Shunsuke Bando said Tuesday the low prices leading to subdued inflation provided the chance for an oil-importing country such as Laos to reduce its current account deficit and wind back costly market-distorting fuel subsidies.
Laos' inflation rate is projected at 3.5 percent in 2015 http://www.cheapnbajerseysnuggets.com/Emmanuel-Mudiay-Jersey/ , down from 4.2 percent in 2014 and 6.4 percent in 2013.
Mr Bando made the comments at a press conference in Vientiane to mark the publication of the Asian Development Outlook 2015, officially released on Tuesday in Hong Kong.
The report http://www.cheapnbajerseysnuggets.com/Dikembe-Mutombo-Jersey/ , which looks at national and regional economies across Asia, sees steady growth of 6.3 percent across Asia underpinned by reform for developing countries http://www.cheapnbajerseysnuggets.com/Carmelo-Anthony-Jersey/ , recovery in their more advanced peers and reductions in commodity prices.
Speaking at the press conference, ADB Country Director for Laos Sandra Nicoll welcomed Laos' continued economic expansion and recommended policymakers take advantage of the opportunities for macroeconomic reform presented while reducing the nation's fiscal deficit.
"The Lao PDR Economy remains a strong performer in the region with a GDP growth above 7 percent for the ninth consecutive year in 2014 http://www.cheapnbajerseysnuggets.com/Allen-Iverson-Jersey/ , though fiscal tightening and weaker global demand for minerals moderated the pace from 7.9 percent in 2013 to 7.4 percent," Ms Nicoll said.
She said weaker global demand for Laos' mineral exports and fiscal tightening would feed into a lower projected growth rates of 7.0 percent in 2015 and 7.2 percent in 2016.
Meanwhile the nation's expanding power generation sector was expected to be a major positive cont.
